I have an undergraduate degree in Computer Science from Toronto Metropolitan University and I’m passionate about intertwining app development, whether it be web or mobile, with my personal hobbies.

A hobby I’ve picked back up recently is chess. I’ve always been interested in chess from a young age; my dad had a board and in the fifth grade my teacher introduced me to very simple puzzles. In university I made a Chess.com account, but, it didn’t stick. Come the pandemic I became obsessed, and went from 700 rated to now being 2000 rated blitz online as well as above 1900 in bullet and rapid.

I also just started my over the board (OTB) journey playing in three classical tournament so far. The games can be very gruelling, but, I’m getting to meet a lot of very cool people and sitting at the board for upwards of four hours has taught me about focus, determination and has increased my overall confidence. I’m originally from Canada, but as a child I moved around a little bit living in Calgary, as well as New York. I love soccer, speak french and would love to learn how to surf.
